Reggie’s story
Reggie cooks on the Gilded Gravy steak barge. He owns fourteen gadgets and a pan that plays music. He believes he won the steak cook-off. He did not.
- Owns 14 gadgets. Uses 2.
- His pan plays the same song 41 times per steak.
- Will be back. He always is.
Reggie runs the kitchen on the Gilded Gravy, a floating steakhouse with golden railings, a brass band and a sign that flashes BEST STEAK ON THE RIVER.
He owns fourteen kitchen gadgets, and he will tell you about every single one. One of them is a pan that plays music. It only knows one song.
When he challenged Gerzsi to a steak cook-off, the beaver had one skillet and a little thermometer. Reggie had a robot stirrer and a laser something. It ended in a draw. Reggie says it didn’t.
At the Harvest Fair he opened his oven eleven times to admire his turkey and came second. He says the smoke machine was misunderstood.
Deep down, Reggie is not a bad cook. He just hasn’t learned that the best tool is the one that tells you the truth.
